Individual Intensity Levels

maximize performance with scientific training How hard do you need to train?

Intensity of workouts (the effort exerted by performing a specific exercise or the cumulative effort of a daily workout) and training volume (time and distance) are the two major parameters for building and adjusting any training process. Our program calculates individual intensity levels as a percentage of individual speed and power output. This data can be effectively used for:

  • Further calculation of training exercises

  • Evaluation of individual effort at distances during the training exercise

  • Evaluation of progress (when applied in annual progression).

The knowledge of individual intensity levels at different distances in any sport or exercise, is arguably the most important tool needed to intelligently manage the overall training process. As a result, it is crucial regarding t he ability of an athlete to achieve a desired goal (whether it involves a simple  weight loss program or the preparation of an athlete to become an Olympic Champion).

Super Sport Systems provides a simple, yet extremely effective tool, which will allow you to determine the amount of effort that you will need to exert (intensity level), at any working distance. Even better, since we already know the required progression of results at any distance, we can also provide intensity levels for any specific week of training during your season, at those specific distances.
